Krump

In these weeks, I finalised majority of my interviews, posters and social media. In week 12 I added photography to my solutions. Will upload what i have filmed, captured and everything else after this post.

More work on the poster prints. Found something im liking so I'm going to keep going with the dark grey and yellow colours. represents wellington and the colour is warm to me its welcoming and effective

This week and over the breal, I was interviewing and filming events for my project which I will show and the end of this blog. I also started doing different ideas for posters in the break. Playing with colour, type and how it will all sync with other solutions I chose.

In preparation for our supercrit session, I ended up posting up big prints of the foundation on Krump and showed my audience how to Krump physically and how these Krump foundations work. This was purposely set up as during the first half of the semester,  I was showing a lot of video and so for supercrit I wanted to be different and actually show Krump physically and allow people to view it firsthand. I was working with the idea that “first interactions are valuable, fun to watch and easier to understand”.

This is for week4. Worked on another video after having some good feedback in what I could add into it. These are all practise ones until im happy with how I want to do my finals.

This week just keep working on some more material for my project. Still working on premiere pro, and a motion graphics intro on after effects. Illustrating krump language. 

First showing. the last 2 weeks I was showing a lot of videos. So I thought to change it up and show some of the booklet I intended to do. I also showed a more refined video that I did. Good feedback. Thinking if I was to make a book, where would it be placed? People liked the colours and illustrations that I done as well

Worked on this before coming into semester two. Looking at where this project will be heading. Looked at what I need to work on and what I want to show. For week one I put together a video. Got some good feedback from this. From what should be added, diversity in the footage, interviews and more. Working with text and motion graphics in this video too. Didnt like it and wasnt good at it so I have disregarded it.
